Timothy Brown started our independent family run property business in 1981, evolving to become a highly respected and trusted professional firm of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents, Residential and Commercial Managing agents, and Valuers.

Over the years Timothy has been joined by his team of professionals who all live locally, and have developed an unrivalled expert knowledge of our local area, with all senior members of our team qualified with RICS, ARLA and the NAEA, all of which we think makes us pretty special.

We also love what we do, and have earned a reputation of integrity and trust. We focus on delivering, every time, the highest level of service to our clients and customers, in a courteous, knowledgeable and professional manner.

Karen

Sales Team

Karen started with Timothy A Brown in 2019 and is part of the sales team where she arranges viewings, handles sales negotiations and ensures regular contact with clients. Outside of work, Karen enjoys swimming, walking and likes to entertain with family and friends.

Joseph

Sales Team

Joseph is a member of the national association of estate agents and has worked within the property industry since 2012 and joined the Timothy A Brown team in the latter half of 2018, where he supports the sales team, assists in sales progression and carries out property valuations. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys hitting the gym, dining out with friends and family, and high-spirited weekends away.

Kate

Sales Team

Kate started with Timothy A Brown in 2017 and is part of the sales team, handling enquiries, offer negotiation and sales progression. Kate has lived locally to Congleton all her life and knows the area well. She started her career working in sales within the house building industry 25 years ago working for various major UK PLC companies and progressed to a senior management level where she met her husband. Having taken a career break to have children and now having two teenage daughters, she saw the opportunity to work for a local company which she had a great deal of respect for. Kate says the best part of her role is successfully pairing a customer with their dream house. When not at work, Kate enjoys reading, walking, gardening, travelling and entertaining friends and family

Nigel

Sales Team

Nigel started with Timothy A Brown in March 2022, having spent the best part of the last 20 years in the industry, predominantly in the South Cheshire area. His main role within the Company is to progress sales to a successful completion so that buyers and vendors can exchange keys at the end of a hopefully smooth and stress free journey. He also helps the extremely experienced sales team with the day to day running of viewings, valuations and offers. When not at work, Nigel enjoys sailing and golf with his son, attending the local gym, particularly the spinning classes with his wife. He and his wife also love exploring the beautiful Cheshire countryside and holidaying in Menorca where they have been going now for the past 14 years.

Sophie

Rental Team

Sophie started with Timothy A Brown in 2018. She is a qualified member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. She completes the inventories and property inspections for the lettings team and is the company’s ‘in house’ domestic energy assessor. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys time at her allotment with her son, spectating at motorsport events and holidays to her favourite island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.

Kayleigh

Rental Team

Kayleigh started with Timothy A Brown in 2021 as part of the Lettings Team. Her main roles include arranging viewings with prospective tenants and landlords, organising the Gas Safety Certificate Renewals and general enquiries. Outside of work, Kayleigh enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and fine dining, as well as attending local festivals and car shows.

Vicky

Rental Team

Vicky has worked at Timothy A Brown for 25 years and has excellent knowledge of the local area. She is a qualified Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and a senior member of the rental team. Vicky is helpful, friendly and approachable, overseeing the day to day running of the team and also heads the repairs/maintenance, being able to react quickly and efficiently to resolve issues. Outside of work, Vicky enjoys holidays in North Wales, the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands, hiking mountains, walking in the countryside and watching motorcycle trials, spending time with family and friends, weekends away, entertaining and going for meals out.

Judith

Rental Team

Judith started with Timothy A Brown in 1990 and is now a senior member of the rental team. She is mainly responsible for the finance side, collecting rents from tenants, paying out to landlords, paying contractors and generally dealing with the day to day running of the department. Outside of work Judith likes to holiday in St Ives in Cornwall, spending time with her family and friends and walking her 2 black labradors.

Jane

Rental Team

Jane started with Timothy A Brown in 2014 - she works in the lettings team and handles utility bills for the rental properties. Outside of work, Jane enjoys holidays in the sun, spending time with family and friends and is an avid fan of Sheffield Wednesday F.C.

Tim

Tim is the Managing Director and founded the business in 1981 with his wife Pauline. Tim is retired but still oversees the business. During his career he focused mainly on the Public House and Licensed Trade business. Tim likes trains, classic cars and travelling around Europe!

Pauline

Pauline founded the business with her husband Tim in 1981. Pauline has retired but during her career she managed the office and was responsible for gaining liquor licenses for pubs and hotels. Pauline loves the sun and holidaying in Spain.

Tom

Tom is one of the Directors, and also Tim’s son, and joined the business in 1995. He is responsible for the residential side of the business including sales and lettings and is a qualified Associate Member of the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors), a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and a Member of the National Association of Estate Agents He also manages the day to day running of the business. Tom likes mountain biking, running, crossfit, playing football and spending time with his two sons Jack and Wilson!

Sion

Sion joined the business in 1998 and is one of the Directors. He is a Chartered Surveyor and a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). He is responsible for the commercial property side of the business and also carries out surveys and valuations. Sion speaks Welsh fluently, likes real ale, classic cars and has 2 daughters. Sion enjoys supporting his wife Sally, who is very keen on event horses.

Dave

Dave started as P.A. with Timothy A Brown in August 2022 providing comprehensive admin support to Tom & Sion, as well as the office team. Outside of work, Dave enjoys interior design, good food, holidays, travelling, walking, music, books and regular exercise.

Caroline

Caroline started with Timothy A Brown in 2013 and is part of the admin team, generating property details and typing reports. Outside of work, Caroline has 2 children, and enjoys holidays to Spain, shopping and meals out with friends and family!
